...the great part about working for Jalopnik is obvious. I get to work with awesome car people and get paid to talk about what I love. But there is a downside...I don't have as much time to actually read Jalopnik and I don't have as much time to come here.

Yes you do! It's a job, you waste time on the computer before the job and during the job and after the job. That's when we all come here to oPPo and think of nifty stuff to discuss with others. You have time at breakfast with your phone on the table next to your cracklin' oat bran and cup of coffee, or on your desk next to your next cup of coffee and computer that you're waiting for the internet to reconnect with. There's always room for oppo. After a few minutes with the lady before you fall asleep perhaps? That's always a good time. Oh...in church!

Lemme ask you, is writing for Jalopnik your full time job now? I've been curious about this since you were made a FP author. Also, with the amount of killer stuff you put out, I can't imagine writing for Jalopnik and having a full time job elsewhere.

I go to Katie's C&C every week. I was having camera issues (it's being repaired at Canon facility as I speak,) so a lot of these photos were graced by natural light but are underexposed and have odd focus points.

I will keep you updated as I continue to write and shoot, more and more. I'm completely serious about photojournalism as a job during grad schoool . Point is. I'm an artist, social-butterfly, and a gearhead. I feel if I keep practicing via my random posts here, eventually I'll make something good ;) Please feel free to follow and criticize me constructively.

Hello Tom, I am Uly. I've working at dealerships for a long time. Why are people so afraid of a simple salesman or service department? We have to ramp up our policies to not get screwed over by customers and at the same time, customers feel we are trying to rip them off. Spy vs. Spy tactics everyday.
